Component names and functions

SETUP button

• •  Displays the Settings screen.
• •  When you press and hold the button the Version info/Update screen appears. ▶  Refer to "Version info/Update."

Custom button
()

• •  Runs the user-defined function.
• •  Press and hold to display the Custom button ☆ (Navigation) settings screen. ▶  Refer to "Custom button ☆ (Navigation)."

MEDIA button

• •  Play media from the connected media devices.
• •  Press and hold to display the media selection window.

RADIO button

• •  Turns on the radio.
• •  When you press the button repeatedly with the radio turned on, it toggles between FM and AM modes.

NAV button

• •  Moves to the navigation menu.
• •  When you press and hold the button, the POI name search screen appears. ▶  Refer to "Searching by keyword."

MAP button

• •  Returns to the current location on the map.
• •  When pressed while the route guidance is in progress, the voice guidance will be repeated.

VOL button
(+/-)

• •  Press the button to adjust the system volume.
• •  Press the button while hearing a guidance message to adjust the volume.

POWER button

• •  Press the button to turn on or off the Radio/Media.
• •  Press and hold the button to turn off the screen and sound.

System Reset button

• •  Restarts the system.

Voice Recognition button
()

• •  Press to start voice recognition. Press and hold to end voice recognition.
• •  Press and hold to start or end voice recognition of a connected smartphone via phone projection. (The button's operation may vary depending on smartphone specifications.)

MODE button

• •  Press the button repeatedly to toggle among radio and media modes.
• •  Press and hold the button to display the settings for the MODE Button (Steering wheel). ▶  Refer to "MODE Button (Steering wheel)."

Volume lever
(+/-)

• •  Push the lever up or down to adjust the volume.

Mute button

• •  Press the button to mute or unmute the volume
• •  Press the button to pause or resume during media playback.

Up/Down lever
(/)

• •  Changes the broadcasting channel, music, or file while using the Radio/Media function.
• •  Push and hold the lever to search a broadcasting channel while listening to the radio.
• •  Push and hold the lever to fast forward or rewind while playing media (except for Bluetooth audio, Android Auto).

Call/Call end button
()

• •  Before connection of Bluetooth: Press to display the Bluetooth connection window.
• •  After connection of Bluetooth: Press to display the recent calls list, press and hold to redial the last number, and press for an incoming call to answer it.
• •  When a call comes in, pressing the button will answer the call, pressing and holding the button will reject the call.
• •  During a call, pressing the button will end the call.

Custom button

• •  Use a custom function that is assigned to this button by the user.
• •  Press and hold the button to display the Custom button ★ (Steering wheel) settings screen. ▶  Refer to "Custom button ★ (Steering wheel)."
