Various ways to find routes

On the Navigation menu, you can set the destination by using various searches, such as entering the location information or selecting from recent destinations or categorised places.

Perform any of the following methods:

• •  On the All menus screen, press Navigation.
• •  On the control panel, press the [NAV] button.

Searching by keyword

Search for a location by entering POI name, address or coordinates.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Search.
   
2. Enter the keywords for a search.
   • To see the search result, press OK.
   • To access the online user's manual on the Search screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
   
   • If Live is enabled, the search result will be provided from the server. This is more accurate.
   • If Live is disabled, search results will be provided from the system database.
3. Select a destination from the search result list.
   • To change the sorting order, press and select a sorting method.
   
4. Check the location of the destination and then press Start Guidance or Change Destination.
   
   • If you press Route Variants at the bottom of the screen, you can select a desired route.

Searching the nearby points of interest

You can set a destination through searching the nearby points of interest by category.

1. On the Navigation screen, press POI category.
   
2. Select a POI category.
   • To access the online user's manual on the POI category screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
   
3. Select a sub-category according to the screen.
   
4. Select a destination from the list.
   • To see the results according to the location, select a category you want.
   • To change the sorting order, press and select a sorting method.
   
5. Check the location of the destination and then press Start Guidance or Change Destination.

Searching for Kia service

You can easily search for service centres.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Kia service.
   
2. Select a destination from the list.
   • To change the sorting order, press and select a sorting method.
   
3. Check the location of the destination and then press Start Guidance or Change Destination.

Searching by coordinates (if equipped)

You can set a destination by using the coordinates.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Coordinates.
   
2. Enter the longitude and latitude.
   • To access the online user's manual on the Coordinates screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
   
3. Press OK.
4. Check the location of the destination and then press Start Guidance or Change Destination.

Avoiding specific zones

You can resume routing after excluding the specific roads such as congested roads and roads under construction.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Route info.
   
2. Select the roads to avoid and press Done.
   • To access the online user's manual on the Route info screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
   
3. Select the updated route and then press Start Guidance.

Searching by address (if equipped)

You can search a destination by address.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Address.
   
2. Enter the address of the destination and press OK.
   • Before entering the address, please select State first.
   • To access the online user's manual on the Address screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
   
3. Check the location of the destination and then press Start Guidance or Change Destination.
   

Searching by history

You can set a destination by selecting from previously searched ones.

1. On the Navigation screen, press History.

   A list of previous destinations appears on the screen.
   

   

2. Select a destination from the list.
   • To change the sorting order, press and select a sorting method.
   • To access the online user's manual on the History screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
   

Deleting a previous destination

1. On the History screen, press Delete items.
2. Select the destination(s) to delete and press Delete.

   You can delete the selected place(s) or all places.
   

Searching for emergency services

You can set a destination through searching the emergency services by category.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Emergency.
   
2. Select an emergency service type.
   • To access the online user's manual on the Emergency screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
   
3. Select a destination from the search result.
   • To change the sorting order, press and select a sorting method.
   
4. Check the location of the destination and then press Start Guidance or Change Destination.

Searching for Kia dealership

You can easily search for Kia dealership.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Kia dealership.
2. Select a destination from the list.
   • To change the sorting order, press and select a sorting method.
   
3. Check the location of the destination and then press Start Guidance or Change Destination.

Editing the route

You can edit the current route so that you can drive via waypoints on the way to the destination. You can add up to two waypoints.

Setting a waypoint

You can search for a desired place and set it as a waypoint.

1. On the All menus screen, press Navigation.
2. On the Navigation screen, press the desired search method to search for a waypoint.
   
   • For more information about the waypoint search: ▶  Refer to "Searching by keyword," "Searching for Kia service," "Searching by address (if equipped)," "Searching the nearby points of interest," "Searching by history," "Searching for emergency services," "Searching for Kia dealership," "Searching by coordinates (if equipped)."
3. On the map for a search, press Add Waypoint.

   The selected waypoint is immediately added to the route.
   

   

4. After adding a waypoint, press Done.
5. Select the updated route and then press Start Guidance.

Changing the order of waypoints

You can change the order of waypoint on the route.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Edit route.
   
2. Select a waypoint to change the order and then press or .
   • You can change the order by selecting a waypoint and then dragging it.
   • To add another waypoint on the Edit route screen, press Add Waypoint.
   • To check the locations on the map, press next to the location names.
   • To access the online user's manual on the Edit route screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
   
3. After editing the route, press Done.
4. Select the updated route and then press Start Guidance.

Deleting a waypoint

You can delete a waypoint from the route.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Edit route.
   
2. Select a waypoint to delete from the route and then press .
   
3. To search the route again after deleting the waypoint, press Done.
4. Select the updated route and then press Start Guidance.

Searching traffic information

You can check the traffic information for each route.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Traffic along route.
   
2. Select the traffic information you want to check in detail.
   
   

Changing the route search option

You can change the route search option.

1. On the Navigation screen, press Route options.
   
2. Select the option and press Reroute.
   • To access the online user's manual on the Route options screen, press Menu ▶ Manual and then scan the displayed QR code.
