Configuring the voice recognition settings

You can set the guidance type for voice recognition.

1. On the All menus screen, press Settings ▶ Voice recognition.

   The voice recognition settings screen appears.
   

2. Configure the settings required:

Voice options

You can use the voice wake-up to enable the voice recognition or set to recognise voice commands while outputting other audio sounds such as guide message.

Use voice wake-up

You can use the voice wake-up to enable the voice recognition. (e.g. "Hello, Kia")

• To make Use voice wake-up available, first subscribe to the Kia Connect service. ▶  Refer to "Kia Connect services."

Use voice interruption

You can set to recognise voice commands even when the voice recognition prompt is heard or sound effects are being used.

• Use voice interruption may temporarily decrease the system performance.

Guidance

You can select whether or not to hear the voice recognition prompt or just hear a sound effect with no prompt.
